Example
Example is from Matilda by by Roald Dahl
In the book Matilda by by Roald Dahl, Matilda is very young girl who deals with her anger at her mean parents by playing practical jokes. In her first practical joke shown above, Matilda decides to superglue her father's hat, so that it sticks to his head for a long time. Matilda successfully executes her practical joke, and her father has to endure wearing his hat for a long time. Although Matilda's practical joke was "justified", it is still a very mischievous trick played on her cruel father. Since this example is a very mischievous trick, it fits in the category of practical joke humor.
