An usher to a theatre-goer: "Indeed, miss, I should be glad to give you a seat, but the empty ones are all full."
The usher is explaining that he would be kind enough to give a seat to the theatre-goer, but all seats are already occupied. However, saying all the empty seats are full is a paradox because empty seats cannot be full. Although the sentence gets its meaning through, the example contains an nonsensical piece of information. This is bull humor because it conveys its meaning, but remains a paradox.
